The St. Luke is more than our signature classic glizzy — it is the heart of our mission.

In honor of Maggie L. Walker and the historic St. Luke Penny Savings Bank she founded in 1903, 1% of all proceeds from The St. Luke will be donated to support financial literacy programs and seed youth savings accounts for Black youth in Richmond’s underserved communities.

This initiative continues Maggie L. Walker’s powerful legacy of economic empowerment. Our goal is to help young people open their first savings accounts, learn practical money skills, and begin building a foundation for generational wealth and financial independence.
